Steadfast Kids: Catch Them Young

Steadfast Kids is the dedicated Children’s Ministry of Steadfast Church, where our mission is clear: to nurture a generation deeply rooted in the Word of God.

Our motto, “Catch Them Young,” reflects our belief that the foundation of a child’s faith must be built early. In a world where the enemy is relentlessly working to influence young minds, it’s our responsibility as parents and spiritual leaders to raise a generation grounded in scripture, not swayed by societal norms, peer pressure, or even cultural expectations. We strive to shape children according to the teachings of Jesus, guiding them to be filled with the Spirit and devoted to their faith.

At Steadfast Kids, we believe that children are capable of having a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. Just as they show excitement for their favourite cartoon and tv characters, they can be taught to develop a deep love for Christ. 

Our program is thoughtfully designed to engage children from 18 months to 4 years, offering a Bible-based curriculum during Sunday services. These classes provide a strong foundation in the teachings of Jesus, preparing them for their journey into the main congregation.

From the age of 5, we encourage children to join the main congregation during Sunday services. Just as they are able to sit through a full day of school, we believe they can also sit and absorb the Word of God alongside their families. This approach ensures that every member of the family receives the same spiritual nourishment, fostering growth and maturity in faith from a young age.

In Luke 2:41-52, Jesus at the age of 12 was learning in the temple with the priests and teachers for three days! At Steadfast Kids, we aim to raise children who, like Jesus at a young age, can engage meaningfully with scripture and grow into strong, mature believers. This is our prayer, vision, and commitment for every child in our ministry.
