Give to the poor

At Steadfast Church, we are deeply committed to following the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly His call to love, serve, and give to the poor and disadvantaged. Jesus clearly instructed us to care for those in need, saying in Matthew 25:40:
"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

Giving is more than just an act of kindness—it is an expression of our faith and an act of worship that glorifies God. The Bible teaches us to seek out the poor and suffering and extend a helping hand. As Proverbs 19:17 reminds us:
"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done."

At Steadfast Church, we emphasize the importance of reaching out to those in need.

We believe in actively caring for the poor, the orphaned, the widowed, and the oppressed. We encourage our members to seize opportunities to give directly to those who are less fortunate—whether through supporting Christian charities, donating to orphanages, or personally serving those in need.

Please go out and bless those in need. This is what we teach as the number one priority at Steadfast Church in regard to giving. Let God lead and direct you where to go and who to help.

As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 9:7

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
