Our mission
& mandate
At Steadfast Church, we are called to WAKE UP and RAISE UP believers who are firmly rooted in God’s truth, bold in their faith, and unwavering in their commitment to Jesus Christ. Our mission is based on the word "steadfast," which means to be firmly fixed, resolute, and unshakable. We aim to cultivate Christians who are loyal, faithful, and determined to stand for God no matter the challenges they face, and who will not be conformed to the world but transformed by the renewing of their minds.
At Steadfast, we are committed to equipping every believer to identify and fulfil the specific work God has for them, helping them grow in spiritual maturity so that they can boldly and faithfully fulfil the purpose God has designed for their lives.

"Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. At Steadfast Church, our goal is to equip God’s people to carry out the work that God has ordained for them. As this passage states, our role is to help you discover and fulfill the specific work, or ministry, that God has called you to. We believe that every believer has a divine purpose, and it’s our mission to equip you with the knowledge, spiritual tools, and understanding needed to carry out that purpose effectively.
Beyond equipping you for the work, our goal is to help you grow in spiritual maturity. We want to see you become more like Jesus every day—thinking like Him, speaking like Him, and acting like Him in your life. This growth in maturity is crucial, as it protects you from being deceived by false doctrines and misleading teachings. In today's world, there are many false teachers, prophets, and doctrines that lead believers astray, but by grounding yourself in the truth of God’s Word, you will stand firm in your faith.
We believe that as you grow in biblical literacy and become spiritually mature, you won’t be tossed back and forth by the waves of false teachings, but will instead speak the truth in love, remaining steadfast in Christ.
At Steadfast Church, we are committed to playing our part in equipping you to mature in your faith so that together, we can build a healthy, strong, and unified body of Christ, full of love and ready to fulfill the mission of the Kingdom. When we all do our part, the entire body of Christ will be healthy, growing, and full of love, and that is our ultimate goal.

We live in a time where it has become commonplace for Christians to buckle under pressure, conforming to the ways of the world rather than standing firm in their faith. Many Christians today lack the boldness to stand resolutely for Christ amidst cultural and societal pressures. At Steadfast, we are committed to reversing this trend. Our mission is to raise a generation of believers who are steadfast, uncompromising, and bold in their faith—believers who will endure to the very end, regardless of the challenges they face.

We firmly believe that you cannot transform a society that you conform to. Therefore, our mission is to raise believers who are holy, loving, and Kingdom-minded. Our focus is on building Christians who live for Christ in every area of life, walking in self-denial and following Jesus’ example.

Denial
At Steadfast, we believe life isn’t about us—it’s all about Jesus. We emphasize the importance of self-denial, as taught by Jesus:
"Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.'"

This is central to everything we do. We raise believers who are committed to following Jesus’ teachings in every area of their lives.

Deliverance
At Steadfast Church, we are passionate about seeing God’s people set free from all forms of bondage. We strongly believe in deliverance and in the power of the Holy Spirit to break the chains of addiction, mental oppression, demonic influences, and every form of spiritual bondage. Many Christians live under the weight of these burdens, unable to walk fully in the freedom that Christ has provided. Our goal is to lead believers to freedom in Christ, breaking free from the strongholds that keep them from fulfilling their God-given purpose.

Doctrine
We believe that the Word of God has the answers to all of life’s challenges. Therefore, at Steadfast, our focus is “the Word, the Word, and nothing but the Word.” Our mandate is to raise biblically literate, theologically sound Christians who can rightly divide the Word of Truth. Christians who are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live out God’s Word, not just know it.

Discipleship
At Steadfast, we are passionate about evangelism and are committed to winning as many souls as possible, discipling them, and sending them into the harvest. Discipleship is at the heart of our mission. It’s not enough just to bring people to Christ; we believe in nurturing new believers, teaching them to grow in faith, and equipping them to become mature and faithful disciples of Jesus.

With a deep passion for teaching and deliverance, Zino is committed to helping people grow in their faith, walk in the freedom Christ provides, and become bold, steadfast followers of Jesus.
Temisan mariO
HEAD of WOMEN & Children's ministry
Temisan heads the women and children’s ministries at Steadfast Church. She is deeply passionate about healing broken women, helping them find restoration and purpose in Christ. Temisan is dedicated to guiding women and the next generation to grow spiritually and walk confidently in their God-given calling.
Our COMMUNITY
At Steadfast Church, we are a vibrant community of believers who value fellowship and genuine connection. We believe in coming together to share life, break bread, and support one another in our faith journeys. As Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Through fellowship, we build strong, Christ-centered relationships that encourage spiritual growth and strengthen our walk with God.
We also enjoy periodic hangouts, gatherings, and fun days together, fostering a joyful and relaxed environment where we can grow closer as a family in Christ. These events are not just about fun—they are opportunities to deepen our bonds, uplift one another, and celebrate the life we have in Christ.
